The LTC2942CDCB#TRPBF is a battery gas gauge with temperature and voltage measurement device designed and manufactured by Analog Devices. It is part of the LTC2942 family of battery management ICs. This device uses an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) to monitor and measure battery voltage and temperature. It also uses an ADC to calculate the practical state of charge (SoC) and state of health (SoH) of a Li-Ion/Polymer battery. Its integrated switches and comparator allow it to quickly disable devices when an over/under voltage, over/under temperature, or overcurrent condition is detected. It also has a programmable safety timer that provides fault protection when a device is enabled. The device can operate on a supply voltage from 2.5V to 5.5V with an operating temperature range from -40C to +125C. This device is available in a 5 pin SOT-23 package.
