The Advantech BB-485LDRC9 is a signal converter that adapts RS-232 (serial) communication signals to RS-422/485 (serial) protocols. It has a slim-type DIN form factor, and is designed for easy installation and maintenance in a variety of control applications in industrial, military, and commercial systems. The BB-485LDRC9 supports up to 9 units of interfaces such as 4-in/8-out (RS-232/RS-485), 4-in/4-out (RS-232/RS-422), 1-in/4-out (RS-232/RS-422/RS-485), and 4-in/1-out (RS-232/RS-485). It features the built-in 500W transzorb protection to protect the host system's CPU, surge protection against industrial noise and spikes in power levels, and support for a wide range of communication speeds up to 920 kbps.
