Lindstrom Soldering & Desoldering Stations
Soldering and desoldering stations are tools used for repairing mechanical components. In soldering, these tools are used to heat-attach two or more objects together, usually by melting a metal alloy (solder) in between the objects. The objects are held together once the solder cools and the bond is firm. Desoldering stations are used to reverse the soldering process. Heat is used to melt the solder and then a vacuum or suction is used to pull it away from the objects. These processes are mainly used in the field of electronics engineering and in product manufacturing.
