Laird Connectivity Thermoelectric Assemblies

Thermoelectric Assemblies (TEAs) are assemblies which use the phenomenon of thermo-electricity to create electric power. These assembled components contain two objects with different temperatures which are joined together in order to generate a voltage when the temperature of one object is higher than the other. The TEA then converts the thermal energy into electricity. It is a type of direct heat-to-electricity conversion technology, which can be used for a wide range of applications, such as electric car powertrains, power supplies, and building energy systems. TEAs have no emissions, making them a more efficient and environmentally friendly way of generating power than combustion or nuclear power.
