About RF Transmitter
RF Transmitter
A radio frequency (RF) transmitter is a device that uses an antenna to send out a signal to a receiving antenna. The antennae are typically located within the same vicinity, so that the signal can pass through the air. RF transmitters work by modulating an electrical signal, known as a carrier wave, with information that needs to be sent. This modulated signal is sent over electromagnetic waves that are tuned to a certain frequency. At the receiving end, the signal is picked up and converted back into the original forms, like audio or video, to be heard or viewed.
