Raspberry Pi Cameras & Camera Modules
A digital camera is a camera that captures and stores photographs in digital form. Camera modules are components that allow cameras to function. Components in a camera module usually include an imaging sensor, a processor and supporting circuits, lenses, and display screens. The imaging sensors convert incoming light into electrical signals that are then processed by the processor, resulting in a digital image. The processor also typically controls automatic focus, exposure, and other camera settings. Lenses are used to focus an image onto the imaging sensor, while display screens provide a live view of the image and allow the user to set camera settings.
