Aaeon Computer-On-Modules - COM
Computer-On-Modules (COM) are computer modules or small embedded computers that are designed to be a small form factor, rugged and highly customizable system-on-module (SOM) based on System-on-Chip (SoC) technology. The most common uses of these modules are in industrial automation, medical applications and embedded systems for various applications. COMs are built to minimize the design time for development projects and to provide reliable, configurable and cost-effective solutions for embedded applications. COMs include the basic functionality of a full system, like CPU, RAM, I/O interfaces, storage, etc., and can also feature extra functions like wireless connectivity, graphical processing units (GPUs), and embedded controllers. COMs make integration much simpler as they are easily scalable and can be mounted on various development boards for various applications.
