The ADS1286UA/2K5 is an Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) from Texas Instruments. It is a 12-bit micro power sampling device designed for measuring small signals. It features two-channel simultaneous sampling of up to 2.5Ksps (Kilo samples per second) in low power mode, a wide analog input range of ± 4.096 V, a low noise floor of 3.5 µVp-p (micro volt peak-peak), and a low noise floor of 10 nV/vHz (nano volt per root Hertz). It has a very low quiescent current of 350 µA (micro ampere) and features a wide supply voltage range of 2.7 V - 5.5 V. The ADC also features an onboard post-filter stage which reduces digital bandpass noise and performs a waveform dampening on the output data. The ADC also includes an internal temperature sensor, making it ideal for temperature sensing applications. The ADS1286UA/2K5 is suitable for a variety of applications including consumer electronics, industrial automation, IoT, building systems, and medical applications.
