The MA26027/T+KIT is an eight-terminal, bidirectional interface driver designed to improve communication between sensor and microcontroller (MCU) circuits. This part is part of Peripheral Peripheral Interface (PPI), which is a low cost, low voltage logic interface designed for use in 8-, 16-, and 32-bit microcontroller systems. The MA26027/T+KIT provides a two wire, bidirectional connection for transferring data between the MCU and a variety of peripheral devices. The MA26027/T+KIT makes it possible for the system designer to reduce the number of dedicated driver and receiver lines, improving system performance. The MA26027/T+KIT operates over a 2.5V to 5.5V range, with a low standby current of 10 µA. The logic levels of the MA26027/T+KIT can be periodically reversed to refresh or refresh communications. The MA26027/T+KIT is manufactured in an 8-pin dual in-line package (DIP).
