The TDA8025HN/C1 is a programmable multi-channel video decoding IC (integrated circuit) from NXP Semiconductors. This IC is designed for advanced TV and set-top box (STB) applications where high-performance decoder channel flexibility and access to a wide range of advanced features are required. It is optimized for advanced and low-bandwidth digital channels, and provides superior picture performance and picture quality. The TDA8025HN/C1 supports up to 8 digital input enable channels and up to 7 digital output enable channels, and can handle all popular digital formats including HDTV, ED (SD), and HD/SD-SDI. It also supports a wide range of picture enhancements such as noise reduction, sharpness adjustment, and color adjustment. The chip also supports picture-in-picture (PIP) and dual picture display capabilities.
