MP9151 20V, 4A Synchronous Step-Down Coverter DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP9151 is a synchronous rectified step- Wide 4.5V to 20V Operating Input Range down switch mode converter with built in 4A Output Current internal power MOSFETs. It offers a very Low Rds(ON) Internal Power MOSFETs compact solution to achieve 4A continuous Programmable Switching Frequency from output current over a wide input supply range 300kHz to 1.6MHz with excellent load and line regulation. The EN ON/OFF Control MP9151 has synchronous mode operation for Internal Power Save Mode higher efficiency over output current load range. Power Good Indicator Current mode operation provides fast transient External Soft Start response and eases loop stabilization. Full OCP and Thermal Shutdown protection features include OCP and thermal Available in 14-pin QFN2x3 Package shut down. APPLICATIONS The MP9151 requires a minimum number of DSL Modems readily available standard external components Cable Modems and is available in a space saving 2mm x 3mm Set Top Boxes 14-pin QFN package.
