MP7705 12V, 2x5W/2x2.5W ClassD Stereo Single Ended Audio Amplifier The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP7705 is a stereo 2x5W/2x2.5W ClassD 2x2.5W Output at V = 12V (8 load) DD Audio Amplifier. It is one of MPS second 2x5W Output at V = 12V (4 load) DD generation fully integrated audio amplifiers THD+N = 0.06% at 1W, 8 which dramatically reduces solution size by 95% Efficiency at 2.5W integrating the following: Low Noise (190 V Typical) z 250m power MOSFETs Switching Frequency Up to 1MHz 9.5V to 12V Single-Supply Operation z Startup / Shutdown pop elimination Integrated Startup and Shutdown Pop z Short circuit protection Elimination Circuit z Mute / Standby Thermal and Short Circuit Protection The MP7705 utilizes a single ended output Integrated 250m Switches structure capable of delivering 2x5W into 4 or Mute/Standby Modes (Sleep) 2x2.5W into 8 speakers. MPS ClassD Audio Thermally Enhanced 20-Pin TSSOP Amplifiers exhibit the high fidelity of a Class A/B Package with Exposed Pad amplifier at efficiencies greater than 90%. The circuit is based on the MPS proprietary variable APPLICATIONS frequency topology that delivers low distortion, Surround Sound DVD Systems fast response time and operates on a single Televisions power supply.
