MP3412 1.1A, 1MHz Synchronous Boost WLED Driver with Output Disconnect DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP3412 is a synchronous, fixed frequency, Input Range: 0.8V to 4.4V high efficiency step-up WLED driver with true Output Range: 2.5V to 5.0V output load disconnect function in a low profile 0.8V Low Start-Up Voltage 6-lead Thin-SOT23 package. Internal Power MOSFET and Synchronous Rectifier The MP3412 can startup from an input voltage as 1MHz Fixed Switching Frequency low as 0.8V and provides in-rush current limiting Current Mode Control with Internal as well as output short circuit protection. The Compensation open load protection is also integrated Up to 96% Efficiency A switching frequency of 1MHz minimizes overall <1A Shutdown Current solution footprint by allowing the use of tiny, low Tiny External Components profile inductors and ceramic capacitors. Current True Output Load Disconnect mode PWM control with internal compensation Inrush Current Limiting and Internal Soft- reduces external parts, thereby saving critical Start board space. Open-Load Protection The device also features low shutdown current of Short-Circuit Protection under 1A. The true output disconnect feature Available in TSOT23-6 Package allows the output to be completely discharged in APPLICATION shutdown.
