MP28115 4A, 1.5MHz Synchronous Step-Down Converter The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP28115 is an internally compensated 4A Output Current 1.5MHz fixed frequency PWM synchronous Input Operation Range: 2.7V to 6V step-down regulator. MP28115 operates from a 1.5% Output Accuracy 2.7V to 6V input and generates an adjustable 60m Internal Power MOSFET Switches output voltage from 0.8V to 0.9xV at up to 4A IN All Ceramic Capacitor Design load current. Up to 95% Efficiency The MP28115 integrates a 60m high-side 1.5MHz Fixed Switching Frequency switch and a 60m synchronous rectifier for Internal Soft-Start high efficiency without an external Schottky Frequency Synchronization Input diode. With peak current mode control and Power Good Output internal compensation, the MP28115 based Cycle-by-Cycle Current Limiting solution achieves minimum footprint and Hiccup Short Circuit Protection component count. Fault condition protection Thermal Shutdown includes Hiccup short-circuit protection, cycle- 3mm x 3mm 10-lead QFN Package by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown.
