MP2363 3A, 27V, 365KHz Step-Down Converter The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2363 is a non-synchronous step-down 3A Continuous Output Current, 4A Peak regulator with an integrated Power MOSFET. It Output Current achieves 3A continuous output current over a Programmable Soft-Start wide input supply range with excellent load and 100m Internal Power MOSFET Switch line regulation. Stable with Low ESR Output Ceramic Capacitors Current mode operation provides fast transient Up to 95% Efficiency response and eases loop stabilization. 20A Shutdown Mode Fault condition protection includes cycle-by- Fixed 365KHz frequency cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. Thermal Shutdown Adjustable soft-start reduces the stress on the Cycle-by-Cycle Over Current Protection input source at turn-on. In shutdown mode, the Wide 4.75V to 27V Operating Input Range regulator draws 20A of supply current. Output is Adjustable From 0.92V to 21V The MP2363 requires a minimum number of Under Voltage Lockout readily available external components to complete a 3A step-down DC to DC converter APPLICATIONS solution.
