The KM-49 GY is a 7.92x57mm Mauser bolt-action short rifle made by the Polish arms manufacturer, Fabryka Broni "Pocisk" in 1949. It was a licensed reproduction of the German K98k, and was designed to use the older German-style 8mm Mauser cartridge.
