The CM1270-ACA is an MSOP-10 Battery Management IC manufactured by iCM. It is compliant with the RoHS directive, and helps to optimize battery performance in portable electronic consumer products. It features advanced features such as cell balancing, overcharge and over-discharge protection, as well as direct battery temperature sensing. It also has a compensation of internal resistance, cell and pack balancing, and a detection of overcharge and over-discharge. It is designed to maximize battery pack life in spite of user behavior, application stresses, and environmental conditions.
