The RFM65W-433S2 is a +20 dBm transmit power, ultra-low power, low voltage sub-1 GHz radio transceiver developed by Hope Microelectronics. The part is based on SiLabs’s fully-integrated RF sub-system to address the emerging IEEE 802.15.4 / ZigBee® / ISA100 compatible applications where high performance and ultra-low power consumption is of paramount importance. This part operates in the license-free 433/868 MHz frequency bands and offers sensitivity of -120 dBm, an output power of up to +20 dBm and an efficiency of over 70%. It features 128-bit AES hardware encryption for enhanced security, RSSI for fast determination of distance, 23 GPIO pins for control, low power sleep modes, and an optional protocol stack to simplify development. It is ideal for Industrial Automation, Smart Home, Lighting, Wireless Sensor Networks, Home and Building Automation, and Wearable applications.
