The Arduino Mega ADK (Arduino Microcontroller Development Kit) is a development board based on the ATmega2560 microcontroller. The board has 54 digital input/output pins (of which 15 can be used as PWM outputs), 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It is also available in two versions: the Arduino Mega 2560 R3 and the Arduino Mega ADK. The Mega ADK is specifically designed for Android-based projects and includes the Google ADK (Android Developer Kit). The board includes all the components required for creating Android powered access control devices, robot controllers, and other projects with Android.
