The board features a USB interface for communication with the TMCL-IDE control software running on a PC. The power MOSFETs of the TMC2660 support drive currents up to 2.4A RMS and 29V. The control software provides a user-friendly GUI for setting control parameters and visualizing the dynamic response of the motor. Motor movement can be controlled through the Step/Dir interface using inputs from an external source or signals generated by the onboard microcontroller acting as a step generator.
