LTC2450 Easy-to-Use, Ultra-Tiny 16-Bit ADC FEATURES DESCRIPTION n The LTC 2450 is an ultra-tiny 16-bit analog-to-digital GND to V Single-Ended Input Range CC n converter. The LTC2450 uses a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply, 0.02LSB RMS Noise n accepts a single-ended analog input voltage, and commu- 2LSB INL, No Missing Codes n nicates through an SPI interface. It includes an integrated 2LSB Offset Error n oscillator that does not require any external components. 4LSB Full-Scale Error n It uses a delta-sigma modulator as a converter core and Single Conversion Settling Time for Multiplexed provides single-cycle settling time for multiplexed applica- Applications n tions. The converter is available in a 6-pin, 2mm 2mm Single Cycle Operation with Auto Shutdown n DFN package. The internal oscillator does not require any 350A Supply Current n external components. The LTC2450 includes a proprietary 50nA Sleep Current n input sampling scheme that reduces the average input 30 Conversions Per Second n sampling current several orders of magnitude. Internal OscillatorNo External Components Required The LTC2450 is capable of up to 30 conversions per sec- n Single Supply, 2.7V to 5.5V Operation ond and, due to the very large oversampling ratio, has n SPI Interface extremely relaxed antialiasing requirements.
