LTM4663 Ultrathin 1.5A Module Thermoelectric Cooler (TEC) Regulator FEATURES DESCRIPTION n Built-in Two Zero-Drift, Rail-to-Rail Chopper The LTM 4663 is a complete 1.5A Module Amplifiers Thermoelectric Cooler (TEC) regulator in a tiny 3.5mm n 2.7V to 5.5V Input Voltage Range 4mm 1.3mm LGA package. Included in the package are n 1.5A Driving Capability the TEC controller, linear power stage, switching regulator, n 1% Accuracy 2.5V Internal Reference Output inductor and all support components. n TEC Voltage and Current Monitoring Operating over an input voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, n Independent Programmable Heating and Cooling the LTM4663 supports a 1.5A continuous sink or source Current Limit current capability. Only input and output capacitors are n Programmable Maximum TEC Voltage needed. The LTM4663 has two zero drift, rail-to-rail chop- n Default 2MHz Switching Frequency per amplifiers to serve as the thermistor input amplifier n Synchronization from 1.85MHz to 3.25MHz and the temperature feedback control loop. n Capable of NTC, PTC and RTD Thermal Sensors n The LTM4663 supports NTC, PTC thermistors and resis- 3.5mm 4mm 1.3mm LGA Package tive temperature detectors (RTD).
