POWER LOSS (W) LTM4670 Low V , Quad Module Regulator with IN Configurable 10A Output Array FEATURES DESCRIPTION n Quad Output Step-Down Module Regulator The LTM 4670 is a quad DC/DC step-down Module with10A per Output (micromodule) regulator with 10A per output. Outputs can n Input Voltage Range: 2.25V to 5.5V be paralleled in an array for up to 40A capability. Included in n Output Voltage Range: 0.5V to V the package are the switching controller, power MOSFETs, IN n 10A DC Output Current Each Channel inductor and all support components. Operating over an input n Ultra Low EMI Noise voltage range of 2.25V to 5.5V, each output voltage ranges n Parallelable for Up to 40A Output Current from 0.5V to V set by only one external resistor. Its high IN n Selectable Pulse-Skipping Mode/Forced efficiency design delivers 10A continuous output current per ContinuousMode channel. Only a few input and output capacitors are needed. n Output Voltage Tracking The LTM4670 employs a Silent Switcher 2 architecture n Die Temperature Monitoring Output with internal hot loop bypass capacitors to achieve both n External Frequency Synchronization low EMI and high efficiency. The default frequency is inter- n Power Good Indicator nally set to 2MHz, it can be externally synchronized to a n Overvoltage, Overcurrent and Overtemperature clock from 1MHz to 2.6MHz. Protection n Fault protection features include overvoltage, overcurrent 7.5mm 15mm 4.65mm BGA Package and overtemperature protection.
