LTM8078 Dual 1.4A, Single 2.8A Step-Down Silent Switcher Module Regulator FEATURES DESCRIPTION n Two Complete Step-Down Switching Power Supplies The LTM 8078 is 40V dual 1.4A/single 2.8A step-down IN, n Low Noise Silent Switcher Architecture Silent Switcher Module regulator. The Silent Switcher n CISPR22 Class B Compliant architecture minimizes EMI while delivering high efficiency n CISPR25 Class 5 Compliant at frequencies up to 3MHz. Included in the package are the n Wide Input Voltage Range: 3V to 40V controllers, power switches, inductors, and support com- n Wide Output Voltage Range: 0.8V to 10V ponents. Operating over a wide input voltage range, the n 1.4A Continuous Output Current per Channel at LTM8078 supports output voltages from 0.8V to 10V, and 24V , 3.3V , T = 85C a switching frequency range of 300kHz to 3MHz, each set IN OUT A n Multiphase Parallel Operation to Increase Current by a single resistor. Only the bulk input and output filter n Selectable Switching Frequency: 300kHz to 3MHz capacitors are needed to finish the design.
