The AD7980ARMZRL7 is a 16-bit, 1 MSPS, analog-to-digital converter with outstanding dynamic performance and low power consumption. It combines a low-noise, wide-bandwidth, input stage with a 16-bit successive approximation register (SAR) for low power, accurate, fast conversion. The AD7980ARMZRL7 features a fast throughput rate of 1 MSPS, a low power mode for power optimization, and a low latency power-down mode. It is designed to accommodate input signal ranges from ±2.5 V to ±5.0 V and features excellent SNR and SFDR performance at 1 MSPS, making it ideal for implementation in industrial data acquisition systems. Additionally, the AD7980ARMZRL7 features a full differential signal path for both power and data input, eliminating the need for additional external components. The device is manufactured using an Analog Devices proprietary advanced SiGe BiCMOS process and is available in both a 128-lead LQFP package and a 64-lead CSP package.
