The Alliance Memory AS6C4016-55ZINTR is a static random access memory (SRAM) chip that features 4 Megabit of storage, 256 K x 16 bit configuration, and 2.7 to 5.5V VDD operating voltage. This chip is a 55 nanoseconds access time asynchronous SRAM, capable of operating up to 100 MHz while providing high speed access, making it suitable for use in a variety of logic operations, data buffering, address translation, cache memory and other applications. The AS6C4016-55ZINTR also has a low power dissipation of typical 70 mW and the 10 mA standby current inhibits data corruption when voltage is low. This chip also features an asynchronous or true three state output enable (OE) pin, status flag, and the chip enter or read and write enable (CE or WE) for more efficient operation. The SOIC-24 package makes this chip suitable for surface mounting in various electrical and digital systems.
