The BD41041FJ-CE2 is a CAN interface IC transceiver LSI developed by ROHM for high-speed CAN communications. This IC transceiver is used to enable connection of CAN node devices to the CAN bus. It complies with the ISO 11898-2 standard and features a built-in transceiver that reduces the need for external components. The BD41041 supports a high data rate of up to 1 Mbit/s and provides low-emission EMC page margin. This IC also has built-in functions such as regeneration circuitry, fail-safe transceiver, ESD protection, short circuit protection and also parity check for error detection. Furthermore, it has been designed with a low power dissipation of only 140mW maximum, enabling low-power operation. This transceiver has a wide operating voltage range of 4.75V to 5.25V and is useful for rugged automotive applications.
