Sctf VCXO Oscillators
VCXO (Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillator) is an oscillator that uses a Quartz crystal and utilizes an external control voltage to adjust the frequency of oscillation. With the use of this external control voltage, the frequency output of the VCXO can be adjusted within a specified range or “pull range”. This feature allows for the frequency accuracy to be adjusted much more precisely and can also be used to provide frequency stability in a system. VCXO oscillators are commonly used in communication systems, such as radio transmission, television and radar systems. They can also be used in timing applications that require accurate and stable long-term performance.
